Hey! My name is Shaila Mallard and I am so thrilled to join the Memory Makers team! My love for amusement parks began very early on in my childhood, since I was born and raised in Orlando, Florida. Growing up we were always spending our weekends at Disney World, Universal Studios, Disney Springs, or City Walk. There was always a place around to discover! Some of my core childhood memories were made in the parks like the distinct smell of the Pirates of the Caribbean boat ride, to the performances during the Disney Christmas Parades, or even memorizing which part of the Spiderman ride the fire comes out at. 

I’ve just recently relocated to North Carolina with my partner and 2 beautiful little girls. Although I do miss the days walking the beach in search of sharks teeth, the air boat rides on the St John’s River, and just wasting the day away in the sun, I am looking forward to the new experiences with my family. I hope to create memories for them, the same way that my parents did for me, wether it’s at a theme park or a beach somewhere on the map.
